In my past life as a Hollywood assistant, I spelled my email over the phone so frequently that “Caplan with a C” became my own personal “L-M-N-O-P.”

Despite the odd celebrity banging my line, I got restless and creatively itchy. So I moved on to Plan C: copywriting.

Plan A for “architect” didn’t make it out of 9th grade algebra, but now, things just feel right.

Like “Caplan” spelled with a “C.”
